Description and Character:
Hastelloy B3 is a nickel-molybdenum alloy with the same excellent resistance to hydrochloric acid and other strongly reducing chemicals as Hastelloy B2, but with significantly better thermal stability, machinability and SCC resistance.
Hastelloy B3 is primarily used for corrosion resistance in non-oxidizing environments such as HCl.
